Description
This class is designed for students who are interested in working in domestic or international companies where communicating in English is required: the course aims to improve TOEIC scores and continue building on the progress made from English PACE level in terms of vocabulary, ability to study independently, and professional communication.

Schedule
  • Class 1. Class orientation. Listening diagnostic pre-test
  • Class 2. Unit 1 and Unit 8 ? Photographs. Vocabulary Quiz 1 (VQ1). Vocabulary Test 1.
  • Class 3. Unit 2 and Unit 9 - Question & Response (VQ2).
  • Class 4. Unit 9 and Unit 16 ? Question & Response (VQ3).
  • Class 5. Unit 3 and Unit 10 - Conversations (VQ4).
  • Class 6. Unit 4 and Unit 11. Talks (VQ5).
  • Class 7. Mid term exam Listening
  • Class 8. Unit 5 and Unit 12. Incomplete sentences. (VQ6).
  • Class 9. Unit 12 and Unit 19. Incomplete sentences. (VQ7).
  • Class 10. Unit 6 and Unit 13.Text completion. (VQ8).
  • Class 11. Unit 20 and Unit 14. Text completion and Reading comprehension. (VQ9).
  • Class 12. Unit 21 and Unit 26. Reading comprehension. (VQ10).
  • Class 13. Unit 28. Reading comprehension. General review.
  • Class 14. Final exam.

Homework
Students will be expected to study a minimum of fifteen self-selected words of vocabulary per week using the techniques discussed in class, which will be tested weekly. Regular review of lessons is strongly advised.
