Description
|
This course will teach students how to organize their arguments so that they are persuasive and powerful. The students will be given business challenges that they must address in a presentation. They can prepare and practice their presentations in small groups before making a solo presentation. They will be guided on persuasion techniques and given constant opportunities to practice presenting. They will be given feedback on presentation skills, persuasiveness, and style. This course is recommended for any student who will need to make presentations in university courses or in the future.

Homework

Students will have to do some preparation outside of class for their presentation.
Students will also have to visit the self-access center to practice and edit their presentations. |

Grading will be based on three presentations during the term:
Presentation 1: 25%, 2: 25%, 3: 25% Self-access: 15% Class participation: 10% |
